Catherine M. Elliott currently has a studio/gallery in Simsbury, Connecticut. For over 30 years she’s painted in the Impressionist style and has been plein air painting since high school. Her work as a contemporary artist is evocative of the American Impressionistic style of painting. The wonder of these works are in its fresh liberation of color and light offering the viewer a sense of awe and peace. The paintings explore atmospheric conditions capturing a moment in time and place invoking the viewer to intimately see the sublime.

The artist’s paintings hang in homes and galleries across the world and she has created numerous commission pieces for both commercial and private buyers.

Capturing the light, a moment of time and the beauty of life is my passion as an artist.

My work is available through my website gallery and can be seen in person and purchased at ‘’Imagine It Framed” at 544 Hopmeadow St.. Simsbury, Connecticut.
